NEW YORK, March 05, 2013 --Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Aa2 rating to New York's $548 million General Obligation bonds, comprised of $326.095 million Series 2013A Tax-Exempt Bonds, $47.97 million Series 2013B Taxable Bonds and $174.06 million Series 2013C Tax-Exempt Refunding Bonds. Proceeds of the bonds will fund various capital needs of the state and refunding of certain outstanding general obligation bonds. The state is anticipating to achieve present value refunding savings of $26.5 million from the Series 2013C bonds. The outlook on the bonds is stable. The bonds are expected to price on March 7...
